I've used cBoot2 + Wad Manager 1.5 and cBoot2 + Wad Manager 1.4 but wad manager still will not start.

sounds like your ios's are gone.

try using the nand formatter, there is a guide in this forum.

yes, but it sounds like you have done a good job of that already.

Plus, you have already made a nand backup of how things are now, so nothing to lose.

The only thing that I did different today was set one game to use 250 and it black screened and then I forced the Wii to shutdown. Can the Wii (softmod 4.1u) really lose the settings from one game or forced reboot? and why do I have to use the bootmii files at this link ( http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...creen-wii.html ) because no other bootmii files work? Sorry to ask so many questions, but I just don't believe a reboot would do this. Is the Wii not booting the wad manager because I am doing something wrong with bootmii?

Well, I can load bootmii, but bootmii will still not launch wadmanager, sysmenu, or HBC. In the bootmii.ini, how do you set it to launch wadmanager? I can change it to HBC or SYSMENU, but what would wadmanager be? Does anyone else have any ideas (without wiping my NAND)? Thanks!

As mentioned, you need to use cboot2 to load wad manager. It is not loaded from the bootmii menu. If you extract the pack properly then wad manager should start when you boot your wii...if it doesn't then you likely have another issue. I would try what bad_ad said.
    Damn I suck!!!!
