    Bricked Wii???

Hi. i have a Wii that i had an old softmod on. So i updated using cIOS38_rev14-Installer. So i could still run backups on the disc menu. Now when i tried updating my priiloader from .028 to a still outdated .30 I got an error. Now when i power on my Wii the light turns green but i get nothing on the screen. Holding Reset does not help me get to the Priiloader which is more than likely the problem. Any assistance is appreciated.

Your software is indeed outdated. You should have gone to priiloader 0.4 using one of the guides here. Anyway, how many times does the disc drive light flash when you turn the wii on?
Awesome sig picture does not work

If you had v0.28, then you had Preloader, not Priiloader. Priiloader is a modified (and much better) version of Preloader that supports new System Menus. Preloader is no longer an active project.

Just so you know, installing a cIOS doesn't allow you to run backups through the disc channel. Do you have a mod-chip?

Ok then i may have something else installed. I say this because i could play games off the disc channel. Before it broke on me i had a backup of Nba jam and Wipeout! that played fine.Nope no mod-chip for me.

cIOSCORP or DARKCORP. Neither are recommended but are fairly common. They both will allow you to play backup games from the disk channel.

The only other way is if you had DarkCorp (aka CIOSCORP) installed. Do you know if you installed Preloader or Priiloader?
