    wiimote doesn't power the wii.

    and "brickmywii" so he says i have never played around with themes but that is my guess

    Try to sync the remote and if you can't, you should turn your attention towards the Bluetooth module. Check it to make sure it's in the socket tight and you may even want to try swapping it with the other Wii to see if it works.

    The bluetooth module looks like this.

    i tried 3 different modules and no response..... i think i might be lost do you think changing the drive to do a disc update might be a last resort?

    Try this:

    Download Offical Wii BackUp Disk v1.31
    Burn with ImgBurn at 4x on DVD-R media (note: DVD+R doesn't work)
    Use SaveMiiFrii to get into recovery menu
    Insert Wii BackUp Disk v1.31
    Recovery Disk should start if not I have more options
    If Recovery Disk starts choose Delete All
    Then Choose Return to Wii Menu

    or better yet i got the loadmii boot disc and launched the hbc reinstalled system menu and ios 36 and boom back in it!!! thanks for all the help you did lead me in the right direction
