    i think board no noise no take disks.. when i hook up my other disk drive works fine from my other wii

    Its probably one of the smd fuses on the board.

    You could bridge it with solder (tho you should replace it really, but most people cant solder parts that small)

    Its usually the one marked in red in this pic, however its also sometimes the one in blue.

    the part is small and has a little N on it (so you know you are looking at the right part)

    Those are fuses? Can u buy replacements i'll check them with meter... thanks

    great now both fuses are bad the one in the red... i have 2 dvd drive and it blew both fuses i think does anyone know if they are marked with N and what amp they .. could really use the help and does anyone know why they keep blowing? thanks

    yes thats my other question does any one know what usually causes that fuse to blow?

    and does anyone know where you might get replacement fuses for the dvd card?

    Look here at Newark Electronics. You might want to verify the dimensions by having a look at the data sheet.

    edit: and it look like I was wrong about the fuse code. I'm seeing several different ratings wit "N" on them.

    the generally go when testing the wii without putting it back together properly.

    board shorts out on part of the wii case or something else.
