Do the SaveMiiFrii to launch recovery mode and put the game in. The game should update your Wii at the point. You will then of course have to follow the 4.3 softmod guide to re-softmod.

You can try, it will only work if you patched you system ios with trucha bug.

If you patched your system ios by installing ios70patched, cios70-v6174, or patched it with dop-mii, you can run recovery disks. But if your system ios70 is not patched, you can not.

If you patched ios36 you can use mario kart to install a patched system ios, or disk swap with castelvenia. If you have any other patched ios that would be loaded by a game, you could disk swap on those ios.

There is a sticky thread is this section explaining all possible methods of recovery from the RM.

So, what guide did you use to softmod your wii?

Well, i used this guide, but is in spanish, i dont know if you can understand a liittle of it:
Softmod Wii 4.2 virgen funciona al 100%

But i dont remember nothing about trucha bug. This affect the possibility with the Metroid Other M disk?
Im really worried buddy...im getting desesperated...When i insert any disk in Recovery Mode, it just make a sound of loading, but nothing happens, the same black screen with the 4.2 letters freezed there. What is supposed to appear when i put the Metroid Other M disk?

Doesn't look like that was included in the guide. Bad luck...

But can I still use the Metroid Other M disk??...Man never thought a simple theme will ruiin my wii in this way...
And what do you mean with:

"if you have any other patched ios that would be loaded by a game, you could disk swap on those ios."

I dont understand a lot of this. But maybe if you check the IOS that they talk about in the guide you could understand a little more, and help me more easily...sorry for all problems...but im really worried about this..

And I have been thinking, I heard in some places, that there are some isos in the internet, that erased the update partition of the disk, to play it without having to update, do you think that we can put the partition in any other disk to make the update??

    Thanks in advance...
