    Us *BRICKED* did the stupiest thing, installed a 4.2e system menu on a 4.3u wii

    well, i did back up using boot2, but it didn't recover it it said cannot load armed.bin or something, i can access my homebrew channel to play my wii games and channels using gecko. i don't know what to do, any help?

    Reinstall system menu 4.1 and cios60-v6174 using wadmanager. Or whatever system menu and ios you like, I like 4.1. If it still black screens after that, you may need to replace your setting.txt with "with system setting replace mod"

    There is a sticky guide above, boot2 bootmii no nand backup. Follow that guide.

    Actually, if you simply install ios70 your wii will probably boot up for you.

    thx for tellin me that!ow it's unbricked. but i can't goto the wii setting menu it says
    "you tried to access the address marc:EU/EU/ENG/index01.html, wich is currently unavailable. please make sure that the web address (URL) is corectly speeled and puncuated, then try reloading the page.

    but it wont let me click the support page or help...weird...oh well, doesn't matter don't NEED it, just can't update my system (wich i thought was a big deal, cuz brawl woudln't load, but used gecko to load it up!) fix would be appreciated. srry for wrong section, just thought hey, maybe a quick fix, and it's not a BIG deal.

    edit: srry i wasn't thinkn' i just came home from school tired plus a LOAD of homework, i should've but i was just too lazy. my fault, it was my laziness.
