Black screen after launching any game

    Hello team,
I have been using my softmoded 4.1 Wii for quite sometime without any issue. Just recently I had problem getting blank screen after selecting any game. I checked my WD My Book HDD and find out that it' acting up. I replaced it with the same model hard drive but I'm still getting same blank screen. I'm using USB Loader GX.
Pleaes bear with me as I'm novice to Wii moding. Here's the output from Syscheck utility. Please let me know in steps what needs to be done to fix this problem. Thanks in advance

It looks fine, but you should install Hermes cIOS 222/223 as it has added support for certain games and loaders. I would also look into cIOS249 rev17 as well. This might help, you can also try another version of the loader you are on now or try a whole new loader.

No guarantees, but it could be the version of usbloader gx. If I where you, I would update to ciosX r19 or r20 with a base 57, then use cfg usbloader and set your HD up as a FAT32 setup.

If you like, you could update your whole softmod by following my guide below.

    Doesn't your guide have cIOS38rev17?

This is what I have and I use your guides.
Tell me if I am wrong.
Maybe your context wasnt saying thats what your guide has, but to try it.

Didn't when I used it, but he pretty much took the newbie guesswork out of it. Guide worked very well on 2 consoles I used it on and haven't heard any complaints for months now.

    My guide has
    202 v5.1 base 60
    222 v4 base 38
    223 v4 base 37/38
    224 v5.1 base 57
    247 r20 base 37
    248 r20 base 56
    249 r17 base 38
    250 r20 base 57

But if you use my app pack, cfg loader is configured to use ios250 to support fat32. To support Triiforce, r-17 is also included as ios249, but that only supports wbfs.

Thanks for the responses all. I will try ciosX r19 or r20 with a base 57. I have not individually updated wii apps before. Can I just launch homebrew channel and then launch CiOS app to upgrade? Do I need to copy any files on SD-Card or it will download it from the Internet?
    thanks again for quick responses.

Here's an update guys. Please help me out. I'm frustrated why it's not working even after doing everything.

I have upgrade cIOS to ver r17 and then r19. I have also linked Hermes 222/223 v4 loader by using IO 236. I have also upgraded the USB loader GX to the latest version. But still there's no improvement at all. I am still getting black screen after selecting the game.
