there is also the update pack linked with the .md5 file inside
    (UpdatePack.zip)
but i thought you are already 4.2/4.3 than you skip this part.
look closely and stick to the guide.

    good luck

questions could also be posed in that specific guides thread.

All is installed now, with also Darkcorp installed, and the system is set up to Europe

BUT the issue is that it does not read any of my backed up DVds (I have the ? when insertig them)

How should I fix that? Should I switch the region to US to have NTSC (as the original region setting was Japanese, and DVDs were playing ok)

settings from neogamma. or your loader you are using

cioscorp deinstallation here. (that will remove the abbiliy to load your backup games without a modchip present in your wii to be played through the discchannel, really don't want to say it is that bad or something. but that this could already be the issue. try the loader settings first)

If you uninstalled the darkcorp, your games will not load from the disk channel. Use the neogamma disk loader that was installed. To make darkcorp work, reinstall darkcorp, then boot into priiloader and set the region free everything. You will have best compatibility with the neogamma loader most likely, but you can use both.

Darkcorp + region free everything did the job: backed up DVD games can be played. Great
Not quite sure what neogamma is, nor how / if to use it?

Anyhow, I will from now on be more interested to learn more about external HHD + emulation so that I don't have to mange physical dvds.
I trust the next place for me to look at is in chapter 3 (loading etc...)?

    Any specific guidance for this?

Anyhow, thanks again for all your help
