Bricked From DOP-Mii Accidental System Menu Downgrade

    Hello Everyone,

I was hoping that I could get a bit of assistance. I was using RAWKSD to install some custom songs on Rockband; however, when I went to install them, there was an error. As I have a 4.3U version (I did the whole softmod 4.3 using SSB), the patcher did not work. I decided to use DOP-IOS to patch IOS37. In that process, it asked me about my system menu and said 'do you want to use menu 3.2'. I selected yes. Opps.

So, needless to say, my wii is not working. I can get to the main menu, but any time I click on something, it simply reboots the wii. I was curious what is the recommended steps to fix my current problem

Strange, I think it would work or not work. I don't understand why you have the reboot, but I think your best option would be to go back to 4.1. I consider 4.1 the gold standard, so that is where we are going, modify as you like.
    Backup and format the sd-card
    Extract MMM_CB2.zip to sd:\
    Extract Priiloader_v0_4.zip to sd:\apps\
    Extract 4.x-hacks.ini.zip to sd:\
    Extract aad1f_v108.zip to sd:\
    Extract cIOS60-v6174.zip to sd:\wad
    Extract (4.1u)-System Menu-NUS-v449.zip to sd:\wad
Now put the sd card in the wii and boot

    Perhaps MMM starts on boot
If MMM loads on boot selet Wad Manager
    Press 1, install all wads

    Perhaps the system menu boots
if so go to wii settings -> data managment -> channels -> sd card
Load the boot.dol -> MMM loads
Select reload another ios- load ios249
    Select Wadmanager
    Press 1, install all wads

    After the wads have installed:
Press 2, load the app manager
    Select priiloader
Read the warning, hold B press +/A to install
After install power off the wii, hold reset and power on while holding reset
    Select system menu hack
Enable block online and block disk update, and any others you know you want to use. If you don't know, you don't need them.

    DONE.

Okay, so update. I have everything loaded on the SD card. I go to the SD Menu and it shows a question mark box. When i try to start that it says the following "this channel cannot be launched on this Wii console"

Unfortunately, none of them seemed to work (including the others in the archive: 1a,1b, 1c, etc). I kept getting the same message "....cannot be launched on this wii console".

Is it possible my menu isn't that old? I am fairly confident that it downgraded to 3.2 (or something like that), but should I try the bannerbomb files for 4.2...or will that just make it worse?

Sounds like you are somehow still on 4.3. You may need to reuse the SSBB exploit to run MMM. If the disc channel reboots as well, you can try autobooting SSBB with a modchip and then hopefully access MMM to install the above wads, IOS60 v6174 and then system menu 4.1 as directed.

I also suspect that IOS249 is either no longer present or stubbed so you may have to do a combination of the 4.3 guide and the instructions above.

The problem with that idea is that I cannot get past the system menu. My menu loads fine, but if I go to start up a channel, it just reboots the wii.

Is there a way to tell what menu I have?

I also mentioned it at the beginning, but thought I should note it again, I am running 4.3u firmware.
