It would be a lot cheaper if you take it apart and just send him the motherboard.

If you're asking Bad_Ad to send you his NAND reprogrammer, I'm sure that ain't gonna happen.

There are plenty of guides on how to disassemble your console, just search for it. He needs the motherboard which is the large circuit board that everything connects to. You have to disassemble the entire Wii to get to it including the heat sink for the processor. If I were you I would send the whole thing as you will probably not be able to put it all back together. No offense but if you don't know what a motherboard is, this isn't a job for you.

i like your Dataman and the TSOP48 adaptor !
removing the chip is far easier and faster; agree, as with ur hot-air station.

    Its technically a Elnec Beeprog+

Dataman are just the UK reseller and rebrand it as their own (and the software)

Which means software updates are around 2 months behind Elnec.

Fortunately, the elnec software works fine directly. But yes, its a nice tool - much like the rest of the stuff I have

I'm just assuming here but I'm sure you have all of those fancy tools because you do a lot more than just fix gaming consoles.
