hey i bricked my wii last week
my wii is 4.1U and i was trying to change theme and i changed into Darkwii and after i reboot, i see blackscreen for 60sec and it show first screen. i tried gc controller and i see the banner but i cant get into the autoboot disc. (i dont have autoboot mod chip)
what should i do plz help me
When you modded your wii, what guide did you follow? Did you install a patched ios60? Was it from dogeggs 3.1-4.1 guide?
i just used 3.1 guide then i upgraded to 4.2
Holy crap, its been three months man. You upgraded to 4.2 from Nintendo or other method? You are still at 4.2? Did you install a patched ios70? Was your wii able to read burned dvd media?
right now i m on 4.1 and i did ios but i can't remember the version of ios. i upgraded by using hombrew, and i can burn dvd and play.
P.S. i did darkwii 3.2 theme before i got this letter
Go rent a copy of SMG2 or other game with a 4.2 disc update. Use savemiifrii, then put the retail disc it the wii and it will update you to 4.2 and fix your issue.Quote:

Super mario galaxy 2. Reatil disc means you walk to the store and buy it.
As no one else has said it, let me be the first. Messing with themes is dangerous and you should NEVER do it unless you know what you are doing and have bootmii installed as boot2 AND a NAND backup.
