DOP-MII 11.4 bug need help recovering

    Short version:
downloaded DOP-MII 11.4 and trucha-patched IOS70. now all channels reboot system. bootmii not installed as boot2 as it was not available option. No NAND backup. System is 4.3u so bannerbomb not possible. no Priiloader. running disc channel with SSBB just gives black screen.

    long version:
updated HBC to 1.08 and system to 4.3u. noticed unable to run hacked wiiware from SD, quick research showed IOS70 needed trucha bug. DOP-MII no longer linked from wiibrew.org so did google search for DOP-IOS (before several hours of research and finding out its now called DOP-MII). first working link had version 11.4. installed IOS70 and itrucha-patched it. restarted Wii and due to bug in 11.4 now all channels, including HBC immediatly reboot WII (details at http://code.google.com/p/dop-iosmod/issues/detail?id=33) running disc channel gives black screen trying to boot SSBB. Priiloader not installed (and from what i have read runs off system menu so would probably be broken anyway)

    question:
is there any way to get the system to load DOP-MII 13 or AnyTitleDeleter?
Will "Format Wii System Memory" recover from this?

Preemptive I am really stupid and deserve my bricked Wii comment.....

Run dop-mii v12, and do a system scan- this should fix the bug 11.4 had.
    Dop-Mii_v12_CB2_BB2.zip

Edit: being on 4.3 makes this more difficult. What guide did you use to mod the 4.3? You are in a big pickle, I can't think of any way for you to load the app. I am not sure a system format would help, I suspect it would not but you can try.

Did you install a patched ios80?
Try to copy your HBC to the sd-card and load it from the sd-card- big useless shot in the dark, but you may as-well try.

pretty much the conclusion I had. its borked. (loading channels from SD reboots as well)

system was softmodded as a 4.2 and upgraded to 4.3 after HBC was updated. I upgraded before I found the real problem with the 11.4 bug was a bad ticket and thought since 4.3 used IOS80 in the system menu it would fix my problem (being that I had patched IOS70 and thought it to be corrupt in some way).

Yet another example of reasons not to upgrade to 4.3.

My only thoughts now are get a mod chip for autobooting SSBB, or buying a Wii off ebay with a bad drive and using mine for parts to fix it. probably around the same price but I like the odds of fixing the ebay one.. (besides, if I cant fix the drive I will just load everything from usb HDD, right?!?)

If you boot the wii, the press [HOME] on the wiimote, tell the wii to reload the system menu. After you do that, you channels should load, your disks should load. You should be able to run dop-mii v13, run another system scan which should fix your issue.

    Hope that helps.
