If you don't have bootmii installed as boot2 and it's a full brick then you have to have had the option to install bootmii as boot2 which is only in older wiis. If you fully brick a newer wii then you're pretty much up a creek either way. If you have an older wii, do not have bootmii installed as boot2 but could have done so, then you can use an infectious chip and nand programmer (erikie and bad_ad84 are the biggest people around here who deal with that). Thought i'd add that for those curious. Any of you brick guru's feel free to jump in if I mis-spoke, lol.

Not exactly as stated, no. If you have a vulnerable boot1, boot2 BootMii can be flashed but not by most users. You'd need a piece of hardware (NAND programmer) to do this; you cannot restore your NAND on a fully bricked Wii unless you can get BootMii installed as boot2. Even then, see the middle sentence. What I'm saying is you'll need someone to do this with you with a specialized skillset (Erikie, Bad_Ad84, deadlyfoez).

You have about a 99.9% chance that it is not the bluetooth module so there is not need to open it yourself. You can test weather is the bluetooth by turning the wii on with your remote. If you can then it is not the bluetooth module. I don't know if you have the option to flash boot2 into your nand or not but this is most likely something that you wont be able to do your self unless you have a very good hand at soldering and have the right equipment. You will have to follow Nightstah advice and have someone do that for you. If you still want to open it up then you will have to have a tri-wing screwdriver. Google that and you can find one fairly cheap.

That's an older Wii, but the question is old enough? What System Menu originally game on this unit? Erikie or Bad_Ad84 would best be suited to make a determination on this, but your answer may indeed help.

pretty sure that falls within the fixable bracket.

would need to open it up for 100% confirmation as I do not have any US serial in that range to give you an answer. but being a d2c means its not definitely unfixable
