I really don't want to format my Wii, because I would lose all of the channels I have now. That includes World of Goo, Super Mario Bros., etc. If there's a way to do that without removing my games then maybe. Also, don't you need the Wii Fit Board to run Wii Fit?

What is it you are trying to do? Are you trying to fill up your NAND? If so then the the hole purpose of that procedure is to get a prompt to format your wii, thus removing the bad wad that you loaded. But in post #31 you said you didn't want to format.

I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted here. My Wii is still bricked, but I have a new idea. With being able to autoboot official Wii games, I have decided the best way to fix my Wii is to use the Smash Stack hack. I think this will work, because after exiting the installer, it brings you directly to the homebrew channel. After that I can use WAD Manager to delete the bad WAD I installed. I own Super Smash Bros Brawl, the only issue is I need to download an iso of it so I can burn it...and it is taking forever. 7.93 GB's of downloading :/

That won't work. SSBB will not autoboot.
If you have patched ios70 you can possible boot recovery disks
If you have patched ios36 you can do mario kart channel install or castelvenia disk swap
If you have wii fit, you can get to data management, install Indiana PWNS
If you fill your nand via ssdm, you can get to data management, install Indiana PWNS
If you install Indiana PWNS, use it to load the loadmii boot.elf, then load wadmanger 1.5 mod dol

To fix your wii, uninstall the bad wad, assuming it was a channel wad and not an ios or system menu. Never uninstall an ios or system menu, you will brick your wii.

So, you have a fixable wii, now fix it. And don't brick it again. Also, FYI, mario kart channel install fails following a failed ssdm attempt do to limited nand space.

What guide did you use to mod your wii? You don't think you used TBR to patch ios36 to install cios?

Alright, thank you for saving me the trouble of going through all the trouble for nothing. I should of realized; SSBB is over 4 GBs which would need a Dual Layer disc...

Do you know if it would be possible after getting to data management through ssdm that I could use bannerbomb? It might help. And yes it is a channel WAD I tried to install. I think I installed ios36, but don't quote me on that, and I have no idea what method or tutorial I used. Thank you so much for your help. It has been invaluable.

Your on 4.2 and must load bb v2, so you cant use bb. Possibly you could just delete the bad channel from data managment, but I think you need to uninstall the wad.

Do you know what wad bricked you and do you have a patched system menu IOS? If so, run autoboot wad manager and uninstall the wad. If not, you can use the mario kart fix (post #7) as mentioned. It works so long as you have IOS36 patched which I'm sure you do seeing as you had a softmodded wii. You didn't brick with an update so it should still be patched. Here's a video of it unbricking a banner bricked wii.

Video Explained (Thanks to Mauifrog for the tutorial)

    1. Attempt to load Official N Recovery Disk - Doesn't load since system menu IOS isn't patched.
    2. Run modified Mario Kart Disk and install patched system menu IOS using the Mario Kart channel installer. This is done by replacing the channel wad with the system menu IOS wad (in guide)
    3. Now that the system menu IOS is patched the Official N Recovery Disk loads and the Wii is recovered by deleting all installed channels and wads.

    Hi guys.
I'm sorry to bother you all again, but today I have hope

I have recently gotten my friend to let me use his Wii to enable autobooting on the DriveKey. I have done it, and what I'd like to know is, what do I do now? Is there some disk I can burn that will solve my problem? Again, thanks for all of your invaluable help.

And no I haven't yet filled up the NAND....

    Thanks,
    -Newah
