Correct, just write the nand.bin. you do not need the keys.

the nand.bin will be alittle larger than it should be, as it has some extra data on the end, but his programming software should just ignore it.

any problems or questions just post here.

    very good
perhaps i could fix my old mother board
    let me explain
i had a 4.1e wii that i deleted its ios 60(using by system menu 4.1) so full bricked and black screen
also no nand backup and no bootmii as boot2
i searched alot but no hope
i brought my board to that man i said and backed up from my bricked nand by nand programmer and restored another backup from another wii
i thought this will be work but i was wrong
then i decided to buy a new mb this one i bricked it now
but if i can use nand programmer to restore backups perhaps i can fix both of them this new one by nand backup i have
and perhaps i could do some thing for older one by extracting the backup that dont have ios60
is there any way to extract the nand of my old wii that i took it by nand programmer?
so i can install ios 60 by showmewads and restore it
i tried showmewads 1.4 and nandextract-0.1.3 but they couldnt extract it
    thank you very much

You cannot install stuff into the old nand without the keys.

If you do not have a backup from the old motherboard and it doesnt support bootmii as boot2, you can not fix it.

you mean i cant extract that old one any way?
and no other way to get the keys.bin of that(like using infectus)?
    what are these keys?
is there a key.bin for each backup of nand chips?
even for those who dont use for wii?
    yet another little question
what is your idea about making a nand programmer my self by this guide?
    is that works?

keys are not in the nand at all, they are in one of the processors inside the wii, the only way to get the keys is to run a program on that processor (that is what bootmii does).

If the wii doesnt boot and wont accept bootmii as boot2, there is no way to get the keys.
