    Bricked Wii (Help Appreciated)

Ok so my wii has been bricked for like 2-3months, it was soft modded by me and was working perfectly fine but then while i was at work my little sister bought a new game and it asked her to update....SHE UPDATED!!!

Now i have a bricked wii im thinking its fully bricked, wii remotes flash but don't work and i just have a black screen with no version number showing up.

I bought the savemii dongle thing which hasn't really helped me maybe cause i don't know how to use it.

    Any help ?

When you power on does your dvd light flash once or twice quickly?

Power on again while holding reset and see if priiloader comes up.

Sounds like you have a full brick on your hands. This type of brick only happens when someone downgrades their wii, fails to remove stubbed system ios, then update from disk. You probably downgraded from 4.x to 3.2, then updated to a stubbed system ios. Perhaps a nand programmer could help if your wii meets the requirements. There is a guide with this info linked above this forum.

Post the 3 letters from your serial and the first 5 numbers. This will help determine the age.

Also, do you have a nand backup?

just updating generally doesnt brick your Wii.

Rare occasions boot2 update fails or it stops half way through, but if it completed it shouldnt brick unless you did some of the stuff mentioned above.

Also, post what I asked above and where in the world you are.

"N" is gonna tell you to suck on a rock since it's softmodded and charge you just about the price of a new wii to fix it. I would follow Bad's advice.

Ok, well I'm in the UK and can fix that Wii even without a nand backup.

Would require the Wii to be sent to me, id remove the nand chip and reprogram it, then reinstall system menu 4.1E.

You would lose everything that was on the Wii, but it would work again.

I charge 30 + postage, if you are capable of taking the Wii apart to just send me the board, it would save you postage.
or if you are local to me you could drop it off
