Bad_AD and RedArrow you are both correct. I did patch IOS15 and IOS36 With Dop-Mii when loading from the Disc just to make sure Dop-Mii was functioning properly. I did this however after successfully booting Dop-Mii from the dvd-r disc. This is not to say that the Wii it was working on did not have any trucha patched IOS.

After testing on three other consoles, I found that it only worked on one other and failed to work on the other two so I did all the cvs reports and compared. I regret to post this but I think that I did in fact get ahead of myself here as it seems that both the Wii's it worked on had a patched system menu IOS. After removing the system menu patches I've found that the disc will not load. This doesn't make much sense to me since I have not trucha signed any of the files in the partition or on the disc at all for that matter. Also, I have made many other versions of this and none of the others worked at all until I patched the main.dol with the correct encryption. e.g. If you just insert the non patched dop-mii dol file into the game partition, it does not work even though the system IOS was trucha patched.

I'm sorry if I gave false hope here but I will continue working on this until I get it working as I still believe I'm on to something and it can be done. I will rename the thread so it does not mislead anyone else and keep up with any updates or progress on this.

Again sorry everyone, I was wrong about this and got way too excited too fast when I saw it work. I should have checked all this out before posting but I got it working yesterday morning before I went to work and posted this thread from the office where I couldn't look in to it more in depth. I wanted to wait to make the post but I couldn't.

When wiiscrubber replaces the main.dol, it reparsing's the partition, it fakesigns it. Even if you extract the original main.dol, then simply replace the original main.dol with its self, if fakesigns the partition.

Thanks mauifrog, I did not know that. I'm still confused as to why it doesn't work when the main.dol from dop-mii is inserted into the partition. It only works after encrypting the main.dol file and then replacing with the encrypted one. If it only had to rely on fakesign why doesn't it work both ways? I must be on the right track, I know I can crack this.
