    1. He already has a gamecube pad.
    2. He was messing about with wads when it broke, its likely that and not the bluetooth module.

    So before spending anything, surely its better to repair what is likely wrong..? If it still doesnt work after that, then buy a bluetooth module.

    If you are able to get to the blank screen and if you wrote other the CIOS then you may use the nintendo recovery disk which is going around on the net. I'm not sure if it will help but I believe it can recover from some bad flashes.

    i booted wad manager 1.5 but the wiimote wasnt connecting and im gonna try the modded file for gc controllers again within the next few days
    even if i do unbrick the wii, the bluetooth module will still need replacing, right?

    The wiimote will not work when loaded from cboot2. You must use a gc-controller and wad manager 1.5 mod. Reinstall your system ios and system menu, see it that helps. Your bluetooth may or may not be bad, it is probably not bad.

    i found the bad wad:NeoGamma-Forwarder-UNGF
    i unistalled it from wad manager and the wii is unbricked! *insanely happy*
