    Yeah I'm positive I've never had a v4.0+ Wii. Highest I've had before now is 3.3E iirc.

    Alright I'll try and get SaveMiiFrii working. If I can do that then I'll have a go at that Wii Rescue Disc.

    edit: Okay it wasn't working this time because I did indeed break the dpad beyond repair, as trying to use said controller on a GCN game showed

    I apologize if I shouldn't be bumping this due to the long period of time since the last post, but I couldn't find anything in the rules saying otherwise. Of course, I may just be blind.

    Anyway, I got the SaveMii chip afterwards and it didn't do anything; no green light, no text, no nothing. Tried with a disc in, no disc, with an sd card in, no sd card etc. Seems the console is beyond SaveMii recovery :/ I don't trust myself with that Infectus modchip since I'd probably fail to solder it on correctly. I don't think there's anything else I can do so I'll probably just give up and try to get a new Wii at some point in the future. If there's any other options I'd be happy to hear them, but yeah.

    It sounds bricked, or you have some hardware failure.

    Send the Wii to someone who does that kind of repair?

    What is the first part of your serial number and where in the world are you

    I'll just copy the whole serial since I'm not sure what part of it constitutes as the first part;

    As for my location, I live in South Wales.

    Okay, got my Wii back from Bad_Ad84 today and it's working perfectly. Didn't take that long and the price was good. He's been damn helpful too.

    I'd send it to him again if I had to, although hopefully I won't :x
