    Installing patched IOS60 Bricked my Wii

    I installed patched IOS60. Exited HBC and now I got garbled The system files are corrupted error warning . What am I doing wrong?

    nvm, I sorted it out. I should install System Menu 4.1 before I exit HBC. Isn't that 4.0 and 4.1 use the same patched IOS60? why it bricked?

    I'm no expert but i'm guessing that you were on a firmware below 4.0 or 4.1, you installed IOS60, which sort of updated your wii but it has no system menu to boot. If you're able to get to the HBC (which I'm guessing not), you should install the system menu 4.1 or 4.0 for your region. If you cannot access the homebrew channel, you might be able to run software via savemiifrii, I'm not sure exactly. See what our experts have to say.

    He had preloader installed, installing the system ios screws it up. Be sure to install priiloader, priiloader does not have this issue.
