My dad has a wii which had the usb loade channel which stopped working afte he performed an update. So i was trying to get everthing going again and what i tried to do was uninstall everthing and start again and put on the 4.2 homebrew. Anyway while uninstalling everything the wii froze on "restarting wii" so i did a manual shutdown nad on restarting the green light comes on but there is no picture on the tv screen, what have i done, help me please..

Sounds like you might have uninstalled ios70 which means you're up a creek.

Do this: Power on. Does your dvd light flash once, or twice quickly?

Power on again while holding reset and see if priiloader comes up.

Kick yourself in the tail for uninstalling stuff you don't know what it does.

it appears you don't have BootMii or PriiLoader installed
reconfirm this with ur Dad; and tell him which IOS you've uninstalled.
it's time for you to try the GC D-pad recovery, goodluck with the Brick.

It sounds like you deleted your system menu ios and don't have any way to launch a program to reinstall it. If your wii is old enough to have a vulnerable boot2 then an infectious chip might help you get things up and running but it could be completely dead. I'm sure one of our other members who deals with these types of bricks will be around shortly. Little late now, but uninstalling any ios under 200 is begging for a brick.

Here's what you do. Get a DriveKey or autobooting modchip and make sure it is programmed to autoboot a disc. Download UUDv4 and burn it to a sony dvd-r disc. Also download IOS70-v6174.wad and put it in the wad folder on your sd card. Autoboot UUDv4 with the modchip and reinstall IOS70 using the UUDv4 wad manager app. You will need a D2 drive or a drive capable of reading a dvd-r disc. Check your drive in the database. Since the Wii was previously modded (hopefully from a guide on this site) this should work for you and might be your only option.

**DON'T COUNT ON WAITING FOR 4.3 TO COME OUT ON DISC TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM. IT WILL MOST LIKELY MAKE YOUR SITUATION WORSE!!!**
