4.2U Wii channels return me to system menu

I've stop using my wii for about a week and all of a sudden a lot of my channels will just go return me to the system menu. Home brew isn't affected by this and neither is my system menu.

I tried to re-install the ios249, or reinstall 4.2, but I can't seem to get anything working and my knowledge isn't that big so I don't want to brick myself in the process here.

Any help is appreciated and I can show exactly what's wrong and stuff over my capture card cam if needed.

You sure you didn't get updated to 4.3?

My wii is 4.2u, I didn't accept any updates for 4.3 because they all usually delete homebrew or patch things.

Are you trying to access channels from the system menu that are actually forwarders to a boot.dol on the sd card that is no longer present?

Two of them are forwarders, but the paths are present and they worked before. (USB loader GX and NeoGamma 9).
The rest are things like check mii out channel, weather channel, and mii channel sometimes.

That's what it sounds like to me. Sometimes I take the SD out of the Wii and forget to put it back in, then the girlfriend is left trying to figure out why WiiMC keeps kicking her back to the Wii menu. LOL
    Damn I suck!!!!

It is possible that even though you were at 4.2, someone took a disk update. It happens all the time here. This would have stubbed some of the ios's. If you had priiloader set-up to block this, then this is not your issue.
Are the loaders working when you launch them from homebrew channel directly.

Are the loader launching when you try to load them directly from the homebrew channel? You said they were there as part of being used by the forwarders.

If I load them from the home brew channel they do work.
