    Bricked Wii -Info inside-

So I accidentally bricked my Wii today.

For precaution I had a nandbackup so i put it in the SD card and go to the menu.

Bootmii says it need to do some sort of check...

It eventually says boot2 ok and w.e then it says soemthing about a different wii.

    Can anyone help me out?

    More info:

The NAND backup is 100% from my Wii
My version of bootmii is v1.0
    boot mii v1.0
    stub v1.0
    mini v1.0

    Sysmenu: unknown boot1b boot2v2
    NAND FS usage: 86.1%

    HBC doesnt work via bootmii

    How brick happened:

I was updating my IOSes with that new WiiSCU 0.24 Final tool.

    So far:

Someone suggested a solution to convert my old nand into cboot2 but I lack the instructions, also I'm not very tech savvy so the best way is a compile of step by step instructions.

Thanks and I appreciate any help.

    Backupand format your sd-card
    Extract cIOS60-v6174.zip to sd:\wad
    Extract (4.1u)-System Menu-NUS-v449.zip to sd:\wad
    or perhaps (4.1e)-System Menu-NUS-v450.zip

    Boot the wii, wadmanager starts
    Select ios249, press A
    Install cIOS60
    then
Install SM 4.1 for your region. E = pal, europe. U = NTSC, usa
    You'll need a gc-controller to do this.

If you don't have a gc-controller, you can restore your nand, but you'll lose everything you installed after the backup. Save games, hacks, etc.
    Extract Bootmii-KEYFIX.rar to sd:\
    Run bootmii-KEYFIX
    Restore your nand.

Did you use ios37 as a base ios for ciosX -r19?
Try to install it with ios36

if you still have trouble, extract CB2_BB_SysCheck_1.6.1.zip to sd:\
Boot the wii, run the scan, then post the cvs report here.

It's ok, I fixed it by following someone else's suggestion, but I'm still grateful for the help:P

Thought I still have a lil problem so I'll quote it from this other forum I posted it on:

"Earlier today I had my Wii bricked so I used a NAND back up and got everything back to normal...

Except that I had to reinstall the newer cios and neogamma to be able to play MHTri again.

However, I'm getting that stupid freeze screech noise again [this was common when the game first came out] and I don't remember what the fix was.

I thought it was the new cios and neogamma that ultimately fixed this but it didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated. "

Um, we have a guide for this and it has nothing to do with Neo Gamma. Yes, it involves Hermes 222/223. Best to search. Glad you got your problem sorted.
