IOS55 is CORPED, IOS 70 isn't patched. Your 249 is rev 15, should be Rev 17. 222 and 223 are stubs. Plus all three patches should be applied to IOS36, you only have trucha patched.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Well I'm pretty convinced that my issue is not related to the DVD drive. I disassembled my Wii (It's out of warranty), and disconnected and reconnected the whole drive cleaned the ribbon wire terminals as well as the receiving ends of the wires and the orange laser wire stuff. I reconnected it all to the main Wii again, and put everything back together. My Wii runs, thankfully, but I still have the same issue. My Wii won't read discs. I get "An Error Has Occured. Please Eject the disc and refer to your manual for troubleshooting". Or it's an error along those lines. I still get homebrew though. Any channels BESIDE the Homebrew Channel won't load. So I may be wrong, but I believe this is a software issue, or firmware. I don't really know. My DVD drive whines when I turn the Wii on, as if it's trying to read something. It did that before I disassembled the Wii. So I guess I put it all back right.

Excellent deduction. How do I fix this? Patching this might fix the channel problem? What about reading discs? Is that all firmware-dependent (If 'firmware' is even the right word to use)? And what does CORPED mean? Are IOSs not stored in the NAND?

Okay Ill keep it simple...I don't know if this will fix your problems but it needs to be done anyway.
CORPED - means you have a cIOSCORP IOS installed (55) To fix it just install the latest version of 55 ( that is not a stub) using wad manager. You can download it with NUS downloader.

IOS70 patched is needed for many things, the most important being priiloader. Read a guide on priiloader and install IOS70 patched and priiloader. ( It is all included in the guide)

    To fix IOS36 -- Do step 3 of shadowsonic's softmod for ANY 4.2 Wii. -- http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...y-4-2-wii.html

IOS222 and 223 -- Do step 4 of shadowsonics guide BUT ONLY delete 222 and 223 stubs. Nothing else!

IOS249- to update to rev 17 do STEP 5 of shadows guide.

NOTE : Doing step 6 of the guide will also fix your IOS55
    Damn I suck!!!!

Note: I'm on 4.1u because I am told it's a lot better for homebrew than 4.2u.

Sorry I missed that. I suppose you have IOS70 because you downgraded from 4.2. Okay then I will revise the info. Use dogeggs 3.1-4.1 guide to install cIOS38 rev 17, I think that step also included TBR which will fix your IOS36. To delete the 222 and 223 stubs you can still follow step 4 of shadows 4.2 guide. Just remember ONLY delete 222 and 223 stubs. You are on 4.1 so you will want IOS60 patched instead of IOS70 like I told you earlier.

That a fancy way of saying you downgraded? You do realize no currently recommended softmodding guide on wiihacks supports this, right? Noticed the IOS 70, that suggests to me you had this on 4.2; there are several warnings against doing this very thing. The only exception is for hardmodders, as mauifrog has a specialized guide only for that crowd to fix the out of region issue.

Yes but the guide told me to delete IOS 249 and 250 as well. So I have.
