ok ill take a look... my wii is full bricked because i installed a bad wad and cant reverse this cus my wiimote wont connect after i launch wadmanager with cboot2 (and yes, i can turn on the wii using my wiimote).

do you know any other way of controlling wad manager without a wiimote (or a gamecube pad) ?

Launch Multi mod manager with cboot2, your wiimote should work. maybe

I have NAND backup but can't get it to use it

What about those who made the NAND backup but the bootmii won't allow me to risk using it?

Will this method turn my Wii into an unmodded 4.1? My NAND BU was made right after the indiana pwns exploit. But my bootmii is not boot2 so it does not let me restore it? Why let you make a back up if it won't let you restore it????

those who made the NAND backup could hv a better chance to flash NAND, after loss of hope when unbricking.

You can restore a nand backup, even if you have bootmii as an IOS. But, if you can get into bootmii, then you have a working system menu and can fix your problem a better way anyway.

I get to the last step of the Nand Formatter where it says:

    Installing /wad/IOS17-~1.WAD
    File size: 1617920

It seems to freeze or stop on this step, unless it is suppose to take a very long time. Any suggestions?

    2 reasons for that:

1, Wii/bootmii/nand formatter doesnt like your SD card much - try another one
2, you are using an OS other than Windows (mac usually) that adds extra files into the wad folder - these must be deleted, any other file in there will cause it to fail.
