Doh, my bad --- I didn't catch this was mid-discussion. I do see he just edited that post, perhaps to clear up your questions? Apologies, as mods we have access to a real time feed and hence I saw your isolated post, lol.

If you have bootmii as boot2 (which you should have if using the NAND formatter) just insert sd card and power on Wii. MMM will start automatically.

Just choose App Manager -> Priiloader and the installer will start.

Reading these posts, it seems like a lot of hassle to regain the usage of 123 blocks of space currently occupied by an untouchable corrupted My Pokemon Ranch wad.
...and yes, I've pretty much tried everything else.

Let me clarify something. What is the best way to do this while screwing up as few settings as possible and which settings will be affected regardless?
I've noticed some "oh, use this instead" posts, that's why I'm asking this.

This will wipe out everything on the nand, all settings, savegames, etc. Once your complete you'll have SM 4.1 and ios60 installed, a couple others but that is about it. The process is pretty simple, but you'll be starting from scratch 100%. The only thing that is not removed is boot2 bootmii, so you can always restore the nand if needed.

But what was this I was reading about "You can no longer edit/access" something or rather?
It'll be "just like new", right? Then I can use TBR and your guide to get all the IOS's I need? All my 4.1 update games were stolen.

You can just follow my guide when your done, do the bootmii option. The nand formater corrupts the settings.txt, apparently you can't edit it- which means you can't region change the wii (which should not be an issue).

Its not "corrupt" it just has permissions set that make it uneditable/replaceable.

If you wanted to region change your Wii after using the nand formatter but using the region you actually wanted at this point.
