For some reason, Homebrew channel doesn't load my microSD card adapter. That's why I'm unable to load some syscheck or region changer applications.. or does homebrew channel specifically needs an SD card for those applications to load? Thanks

    btw..
I'm using a microSDHC Class 4 in SD Adapter (Kingston)
A Sandisk 2GB SD Card works good.

I see, then I guess I need to purchase that, or could I just load those apps using USB a flash drive?

My Homebrew Channel is on beta 8

SD/SDHC Card Compatibility Tests - WiiBrew

Sandisk are generally pretty good... few dont work, but most do.

I personally just bought a few of those Nintendo Wii branded Sandisk cards, work with everything... bootmii/hbc/etc and arent really much more expensive than generic cards and avoids all the headaches.

What size is your card? according to the page I just linked to, SDHC cards are only supported in beta 9
and were only supported in later system menu versions. can you do an online update to the latest HBC? It would probably be best just to try another 1-2GB card.

I don't think that I can do an online update since my wii was semi-bricked before I could set up my internet connection. However I am planning to fix it later by following this Nothing found for 2008 05 22 Wii-fix-disc-unbricks-semi-brick-by-import-mario-kart-ssbb
Hopefully the game would run normally after that.. Thanks

just putting in new super mario bros (from the right region that the console is set to) should update you to 4.1 and fix the semi brick too.

Just doing the region changer to confirm what region the wii is set to would of been preferable.

You can use an anyregion changer autoboot disk to find out what region you are on. Or go buy a standard <2g sd card so you can run homebrew apps from the sd, might help.

If you do remember what region you were on, Wii Music has a 3.3 update.
