    Wii bricked, Need help

I played Wind Waker on my wii not that long ago and today I went to boot it up and I got WII SYSTEM FILES ARE CORRUPT etc.

I googled around and found an autoboot disc of a WAD Manager or something, so I'm at the screen and it says press 1 to read from sd slot or 2 from usb storage device, I've tried the universal disc but it gave me an error and didn't work.

Im not sure how to restore my wii so that it fixes itself from this point on or if its even possible.

I have a Wiikey modchip and thats the only thing I've ever done to it, I got it modded pretty close to the release date.

I've also tried to get into the recovery menu with a gamecube controller, but I probably did it wrong and that failed.

I accidentally installed a wrong region game once and got that opera option menu error, but I fixed that. The last game I played that was an actual Wii game was either Brawl or Mario Kart. I'm not entirely sure what's happened to it.

You can fix this either by softmodding or searching this within the section you've posted in (mauifrog's your guy for this).

I've searched around, I've seen his 2 stickies but unless I missed it I don't see any instructions on what to DO with the wad mananger, and most of the methods of fixing things require that you have some sort of bootmii or pre loader .. I Know I don't have any of those and I'm not entirely sure what they do anyways. I'm pretty lost because I seem to have ended up starting in the middle of all the possible solutions.

Do you get the error at boot or after the health screen?
If you get the health screen, hold + and - then push A a few time while holding + and -.

    Let me know.

Yea, It still gives me the system files are corrupt error, just to clarify the error does happen after I press A at the health screen.

It sits at the Press A screen and eventually ends up with the system files error. Burned using Imgburn

You may have better luck loading disk if you get savemiifrii working for you, it should work. The wadmanager disk is loading fine? What system menu are you on, what region? How old is the wii?

What system menu I have no idea, got my wii at launch and the region is whatever canada/usa is, NTSC I think? I'll ask my friend for his original gamecube controller and see what happens. The WAD manager disc is the only one I've been able to boot with.
