Well, crap. That sounds bad, sorry to say. It froze on the system menu install? Did the ios60patched install ok?

Sorry to say there is nothing we can do. Not sure why the system menu install failed, but it is not a good thing. The only way to fix the wii now is to use a nand programmer. You could do that or send it to someone who does it.
That is a crap deal for you, and I am sorry for your luck.

ps. test savemiifrii again, perhaps you'll get lucky.

Thank you for all your help, I haven't seen a lot of people who see things through so thank you for that.

I guess there must be something possibly hardware related wrong with it, after all I did nothing to provoke a system file corruption. Play wind waker one week and suddenly it stops working the next. I'll talk to the guy who originally installed my mod chip and see If he can do anything. I'm not entirely sure what a NAND Programmer does and honestly I'm not that saddened that my Wii is broken seeing as I only ever played about 3 actual wii games. I'll whip out my gamecube and continue wind waker on that, although I was looking forward to Galaxy 2. Probably find something to do with this mangled gamecube controller too.

-- So I phoned the guy and hes convinced the chip on the motherboard for video is dead which in my opinion really doesn't make a lot of sense. I don't see how an update goes to frying your video chip. The price for everything would have been like 150 bucks which is probably a rip off so I guess I'll slap a doorstop sticker on my wii and put it to use.
