Wii will get to system menu, but wont play any games?

I fix alot of Wii's (tho generally im more of a hardware guy... removing and reflashing nands etc), but one of the wii's i have now just wont play any games... also when i run syscheck in dop-mii it crashes.

I can get into dop-mii to install more ios's but they all seem to be there.

games ive got originals of and tested are: wii sports and mario galaxy.

    any ideas?

Run Dop-Mii_v12_CB2_BB2.zip, and scan the wii.
Post all the info here, up till the point it crashes.

Could it be a problem with the DVD Drive and/or the lens? Do you have a NAND Backup?

its not a problem with the dvd drive or lense, ive both tested this drive in another wii and another drive in this one.

i do have a nand backup, but its only from the state its in now (just incase i break it and need to completely unbrick it)

As I said in my first message, i repair alot of wii's (or buy them off ebay and repair) so this is how i got it.

anyone know what IOS's mario galaxy and wii sports (the first one) use?

Super Mario Galaxy uses IOS33, although since Wii Sports is a launch game, I don't know what IOS it uses.

I updated IOS33 and reinstalled IOS35 (dop-mii said mario galaxy used it) and Mario galaxy started working.

So I went back and updated or reinstalled every IOS that was applicable for this wii's system menu version and everything now works, including the syscheck in dop-mii.

    strange problem, but sorted now.
