    Semi Brick IOS36 Failure

Its been about a day and ive been trying to restore my wii back to what it once was before I screwed around with an updating tutorial that I didnt read to well. Anyways my problem is that I uninstalled HBC <The guide told me to although that was for systems under 4.2>, my IOS36 freezes whenever I try to do anything with it, I only can run Dop-Mii and cIOS*Rev 19. Im in dire need of help and I dont want to purchase another wii. Thanks for the info in advance.

Why on earth would you uninstall HBC? Only crazy people or people selling their Wii would need to do that.

If you can run Dop-mii then surely you can replace your IOS36 and Trucha patch it?

    For full compatibility use cIOS38rev17.

As for the rest of the Wii you will actually need to describe what the problem you are having is, it's not at all clear from your post how this can be classified as a Semi-brick.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

The problem with this is that whenever I run anything that has to deal with IOS36 is that it freezes instantly. Like hackmii and certain other boot.dols/elfs

I fixed a wii like that yesterday. Made a bootmii backup first and then I let the menu run the update (it was already on 4.2) however it updated IOS36 which was corrupted as nothing started anymore. You can try the same thing to get IOS36 working again...

I installed the Trucha patch not with Dop-Mii only because whenever I tried to go to IOS36 it would freeze on me. I used this random file TBR or something like that. Anyways I patched it with IOS15 downgraded. Close this thread please and thanks for all the help you two gave me.
