Im in dire need of help.

Ok so I've been messing around with guides and what not and I ran across a thread that said "Updating from your old Softmod!". Im currently running 4.2u softmod and I have had it working for 2 weeks so far. But after tonight...im screwed. I came up to this part of the Update process
Step 4 - Update Homebrew Channel and Bootmii

    a) Go to Data Management and delete Homebrew Channel.

    b) Use the bannerbomb exploit to load the included hackmii installer.

    c) Install Homebrew Channel and Bootmii as boot2 if possible, if not install as an IOS. Once done, exit.
So I uninstalled the HBC channel and then right after that I thought that the bannerbomb would load right after, although...bannerbomb just goes to a black screen. And I cant run any of my original games and what not. IM STUCK, PLEASE help.

Did you miss the part that said if you're on 4.2 only use the cios38rev17 installer? Your wii is not bricked if you can get to your system menu. What steps did you use?

Step 1 - Clear up some clutter
    a) Go into Data Management. Delete all backup launchers. Do NOT Delete Homebrew Channel.

Step 2 - Update your custom iOS

    a) Run Homebrew Channel and load cIOS38-rev17 Installer.

    b) Use iOS249 for installation.

    c) Select 'network installation', allow it to download and install. Once done, exit.

Step 3 - Installing pre-patched iOS36 (for Homebrew) and iOS34 (Just incase of cIOSCorp Fail)
Pre-Note:Do NOT leave WAD Manager until you have completed all of this step!

    a) Run Homebrew Channel and load WAD Manager v1.4

    b) Select iOS249 and SD Slot (Default Settings)

    c) Navigate into wad folder.

    d) Highlight iOS36patched.wad and press A and install.

    e) Do the same for iOS34.wad

    f) Once done successfully (no errors), press home to exit.

You might notice that Homebrew Channel loads to a black-screen after this step. Turn off and continue step 4.

Those are the steps that I completed. I just realized what I WASNT suppose to do. I shoulda read more carefully about the pre instructions... and yes I can be back into my system settings menu.

Use the 4.2 guides to run bannerbomb to install the hbc again and be sure to read our guides carefully before doing them.
