Your only option is the game cube controller trick, its the cheapest thing you can do.

Get a hold of NSMB (New super mario brothers) Rent it borrow it or buy it, hopefully your below 4.2

plug the gamecube controller into slot 4, hold up down left and right on the dpad (only way to do this is to take apart the controller) then turn on the wii.

your system version should be displayed in the lower right.

while its there put NSMB in the drive and wait a bit, either nothing will happen or something will happen (i waited about 3 minuets just in case) then hit the reset button on the wii or power it off, then turn it back on with out hitting the buttons on the gc controller, hopefully the system menu should boot. (this is the method i used to fix my old wii with a theme brick.

If the GC trick does not work then you have a nice doorstopper
Did you make a nand backup? That would be your only rescue although you need a nand programmer to reflash your wii. As you are broke you have a big problem...

    I have nand.o, nand.c, nand.d and nand.h.
I have got some priiloader stuff but I haven't got autoboot
I will get my mum to buy it and if it remains unpossible to do it without buying anything then i must.
Which one is more likely to work?
    Unfortunatly, my menu is 4.2E!
    Help!
The cheapest way that people say it is, is gamecube way

Your screwed, you can't do anything without a functional savemiifrii- which you have not tested. Then when you do have a functional savemiifrii- you need a preconfigured autobooting modchip, which you do not have.

So assuming you wii is fixable, your looking at $60 and a week of delivery time + your time to fix the issue.

Unfortunatly you have system menu 4.2. In order for the GC trick to work you would of had to been on 4.1 or lower. I don't think that there is anyway of fixing this with opening her up. And even then I don't know if you can fix it with out a NAND.bin backup file to flash with.

Savemiifrii won't work. You have been told by the resident brick experts (mauifrog and erikie) that the only solution is if you have a NAND backup you can flash the nand.bin back to the wii using an infectus. However this is complicated and requires skilled soldering.
    Damn I suck!!!!
