    Bricked My Wii Somehow... (Followup)

I deeply apologize for creating another post, but it continues with the post from this link:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...i-somehow.html

I was told to follow this tutorial to reinstall my Wii System Menu:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...brick-fix.html

The problem is, the WAD Manager 1.4 freezes when I select IOS249, and the Wiimote disconnects. Is there a fix to this problem?

If you had to "select" IOS 249 for wad manager (meaning it didn't default to it) and you couple that with wiimote disconnecting, that means your cIOS is either corrupt/incomplete or missing. Bottom line: you won't be able to fix it as easily as first was thought. Mauifrog will be better able to assist you in this; he usually looks in on this section later...

Ah I see, thanks nightstah! The IOS249 was defaulted however, I just pressed A, and then the Wiimote shut off.

In the interim, I can ask one more relevant question: you are using a 2gb or less full SD card (not MicroSD or SDHC), and formatted to FAT32, right? I seriously doubt that's the problem, as the wiimote shutting off indicates something wrong as stated with IOS 249. Again, Mauifrog's the guy for this or Teal'C if he makes an appearance...

Aha! That may be the problem. I was using a 1GB MicroSD! I'll try on a regular SD card tomorrow as well!

    Try to use ios36
If it still fails, run CB2_BB_SysCheck_1.6.1.zip and post the cvs report here.

OK, when I get home, I will just run the CB2 System Check and post my results here before installing IOS36 to see whats going on.

You need to use ios250 to run your apps, so in wadmanager or dop-mii, change the ios to ios250

You also need to reinstall ios249, run this- use ios250
    CB2_BB2_Cios38-r17-installer.zip

I don't know what your problem is, so I can not comment on the recommended fix.
