    Hardware Brick due to WC24?

First off, I would like to begin by thanking mauifrog for being so diligent about helping me last time I had an issue. If you remember me, I actually had a message board brick last time. I could never get it to format, nor could I get it to boot the nintendo service disc despite having a mod chip installed. I got the problem solved by doing a partial format, which would let me boot normally once, which allowed me to get into the message center and delete all the messages.

Worked great until I did the stupid thing and turned on WC24. I've had problems before with my wii and wc24, my wii never wants to turn on properly when it's left on for a few hours of standby; I usually have to unplug it repeatedly, blow on it, let it cool, leave it sit, adjust it, and then it usually works. But this time it just won't give me video or controllers and refuses to let me in, but the light is green and the fans are on, I can even eject discs and hear them spin. Here's where it gets unusual: If I put my bootmii SD card in, it will actually boot into the Bootmii menu normally! I can't do much from there though, as booting into either the Wii or HBC gives me the same result as not having my bootmii SD card in. What gives?

Again, I would like to thank you guys for always helping me, I'm amazed at how helpful and nice everyone here always seems to be.

Not sure what you've done but the fact that you can load into bootmii suggests it's not a hardware brick at all but still just a software brick.

I would recommend using cboot2 to boot into WAD Manager and install your system IOS & System Menu again. You will need a gamecube controller to use this mod of WM1.5.

    cboot2_wadmanager_1.5_mod.zip

As you didn't bother to declare which System Menu you are using I can't actually provide those but you can use NUSD to download them (watch for stubs) or post back and maybe someone can clarify what you need.

TealC! You helped me once before! You're the one who suggested the modchip, it's been invaluable!
Sorry about not listing, it's 4.1u. The weird thing is that I recall this problem starting even before I looked into softmodding, I have no idea why turning standby on does this. I will try what you told me right now.
Edit: That seems to give me red text saying "Failed to load IOS" after it tries to load ios 2 v 16.
Edit2: Since this is the third time I've been helped by you guys, I've donated 10 bucks, I wish I could afford more for your valuable service.

Boot up bootmii and open the next page, use your power button and reset button to navigate (power) and select (reset)
Open the information screen and post the results here, especially the nand FS usage and sysmenu information.
I could be a hardware problem you are suffering, but also it could be a broken bluetooth module
To test the last onem try to power on your wii with the wiimote

Not sure why you are fiddling with IOS2 as you don't need to.

IOS60 v6174 and System Menu 4.1U is where you should be.

Could be the BT module, best check that before going further.

Teal'c I have a wii that does exactly the same thing, Failed to load IOS 2. He is not fiddling with IOS 2. It is just cboot2 that does this. However I never was able to repair this wii.
Even more strange is that it works flawlessly with SNEEK .....

Erikie, what you are saying worries me. You were never able to repair it? So after all this work I put into fixing the bricking issues I had before, it gets killed by something totally different. It's certainly not a bluetooth issue, as it turns on with the wiimote. Sorry for my slow responses, I'm getting hammered with exams, I shall post those requested results in a few hours. Thanks for the help so far Tealc and Erikie, even if it might all be for a wii that is beyond redemption

Edit: Here is the info you requested:

Looking at the image you need to put on IOS and the rest. Looks like a blank nand to me.
Use the comex nand formatter to get everything on. That should do the trick for you
If you need the formatter just let me know

I think I found it, let me give it a go.
Edit: I notice it starts installing files from my Wads folder, what wads do I need in there to fix the problem?
