Smile not quite sure really, does the awesome thread title go here?

Bare with me lads, only been at this a day and im already in a hole, i installed the homebrew channel with success on my 4.1 system wii, but then when i attempted to run a backup game in neogamma r8 b7 or whatever its called(sorry but im so new to this so i have no clue what any of this means, maybe next time ill do some research rather than running in head first) anyways yeah it failed with the 1053 error, so i went youtubing and came across "usb loader" and like the daft twat i am i downloaded the first one i came across, downloaded it, applied some of it to the wii(by that i mean i ran one of the required pieces of software) then when it came to running the next part of the installation i found my wii wouldnt run apps, alls i get is a black screen, also i read online when googling for answers it could be to do with my sd card, but to rubbish that, the neogamma, when i run it i get a black screen also, so im assuming this is a brick of some sort, i suppose the main thing is my wii runs normal games fine, but still i would like to resolve this issue and give it another go without bollocking things up, any suggestions on how to sort this black screen problem? apologies for the way ive explained this problem, but like i said im new and all this is a bit beyond me..

Ok to see if im getting this correct....

you installed usb loader to load disk =

your wii wont runs apps is this true for HBC and WAD Manger = you need to uninstall the bad .wad that you loaded....

Then when you do that you go and load RC3 Neogamma From HERE = http://www.wiihacks.com/software-bac...-channels.html

Then try to load the game again.....

go ask whoever made the video that screwed you up.

OR go checkout a decent guide in the guides and tutorials section of the forum.

    Youtube guide = fail.

First, don't follow guides that have code dumps in the video- that should put up some flags.

    Backup and format your sd-card
    Extract Dop-Mii_v12_CB2_BB2.zip to sd:\
Click the sd icon on the wii menu
Load the boot.dol/elf, or load HBC and launch dop-ios-mod
Use the second option to install ios36 with fakesign to install other ios.
Then select ios36 from the first option
    Select to remove stubbes
Then scan the wii and post the cvs report from your sd-card here

    After that-
format your sd-card and extract CB2_BB2_Cios38-r17-installer.zip to sd:\
Click the sd-icon or load HBC and launch cios installer
    use ios36, install from wad

That should fix your issue, your apps should work now. If this fails, let me know. Stay away from youtube.
