I thinik the cause was the system menu wad and the ios wad I installed was not properly made, becuase I didn't have the key.bin when I downloaded them via nusdownloader...And I'm having trouble, my wii froze at the second loading screen on gth and now it wont boot it again..maybe I'll get a sims game and burn it...ugh I don't know what would make it stop autobooting..i'm gunna keep tryin..thanks for the help.

If the game freezes it is either a bad iso, or a bad burn, or bad media.
Burning 1-4x with verbatim dvd-r using imgburn is the gold standard.

I am not convinced that your system ios and menu install caused this trouble from a lack of key.bin. Your wii was corrupted prior to that from the description in your first post.

I think you should load HBC-Loader.zip once you get to data management. Then from HBC, load Wad-Manager-1.4.zip and with ios249 install-
    IOS16-v257.wad
    IOS70-64-v6687 [Patched][FreeTheBug].zip
    4.2u-RVL-WiiSystemmenu-v481.wad.zip
    Then exit to HBC
    Install priiloader v0.3b

If your still courupt after that, it is unrealated to your system menu. Perhaps try the mail brick fix for good measure, since your brick resembles it in its unexplained suddeness.

Well the games only need to play long enough to make the save file.

You may want to try some verbatim dvd-r

Well if you can send me a copy of an auto patched ntscu game on a verbatim -r that I can use you to feel up my nand I can donate some cash or something. Also I must have missed your post about the mail brick fix...I googled it, but can't find anything. What is it?

yeah its in post#4, however the link is screwed up. I take it since your asking for dvds over the forums, you are unable to get your hands on dvd-r's. It doesn't necessarily have to be Verbatim, I've used TDK DVD-R, Imation & Sony dvd-r & they all worked fine. Are you not able to patch isos to autoboot?

well I can get dvd-r's. In fact I have a whole stack setting right next to me, but the drive in my computer can't read dvd-rs it can only work with dvd+r's. So when I burn them I have to change a setting on my drive, called book type. I have to change it to dvd-rom so that when it burns the +r it will come out in dvd-r format, it works occasionly but it's not very stable I guess. Ok, so anyway..Last night I got a ntscu unscrubbed iso for the beatles rockband and I burnt it with imgburn and 1x write speed. Everything went great, the beatles rockband boots every single time, but it freezes on the second screen, Says unable to read disc please refer to manual blah blah...I assume since everything else is perfect that my problem must be the fact that i'm not using -r's. So i'm going to take the same iso and put it on my external drive and take a -r to a friends place and burn it. It feels like i'm almost there...i just clean up this sea of dvd+r's in my floor lol.

EUREKA! I burnt a copy of the beatles rockband on a mremorex dvd-r and it booted and plays perfect..but sadly it wont detect my wifi connection anymore, and that's how I intended on feeling the nand. I have a hack for taht game that has all online games unlocked so it would have been soo easy to do. But for some reason it wont connect to wifi, I'm going to find a different game, but in the meantime i'm gunna be playing story mode on the beatles rockband, hoping maybe it will feel up the nand (doubtful). thanks for the help guys, i feel like i'm on the right track now.
