    Unhappy Bricked Wii ?

    Dear all,

Sorry if this has been posted a million times, but i cant find a similar situation to identify what has gone wrong with my Wii ?. Three months ago i updated to 4.2e using "4.2 Safe Firmware Updater" and also updated my IOS to 249, everything has been working fine until last weekend when i booted and pressed (A) at the health notice i got the black screen saying that my system files are corrupt. i have not loaded any wad's since my last update.

The last time i booted ok was two weeks ago, I powered up & took out my sd card and put my camera sd card to view the photo's in the photo channel, when i finished i returned the original SD card back in and powered off my Wii, so im confused how come i now have a banner bricked wii ?

I can get to my HBC by pressing (+ & -) [Maintenance mode], i have Bootmii installed (as IOS) on my HBC but i cant run it without my controller & wii freezing ?

    what are my options please?

    Kind regards

    Simon

Sorry to duck out and leave u but got to go pick the kids up so wont be able to reply for a while. If your remote works with wad manager you need to reinstall your system menu using wad manager. Use NUS downloader to download your system menu version, (it gives u the option in nus downloader), tick the box at the bottom which says pack wad, once you have the wad put it on your sd card in the wad file and install it through wad manager, hope this helped. Also if you only have bootmii as ios I would recommend installing priiloader

dont do that yet wait for mauifrog or one of the mods to answer your post as i recall your ment to reinstall your system menu ios before you reinstall your menu.

Cile is right you must install ios70patched first, then install system menu 4.2.
