    Bricked Wii, but I have Priiloader

    Hello,
    I recently bricked my Wii when I was running usb loader 1.5 (I installed usb loader gx beforehand, but kept getting code dump errors so i tried my luck with usb loader 1.5). Anyways I got a weird error and afterwards every time I start my wii there's just a black screen.
    I can still load priiloader (by holding reset), and get to HBC, but I am not sure what to do afterwards.
    I read a sticky here that said that there are apps that help fix most code-related issues via priiloader.
    Also I have bootmii as an IOS, so I don't think that will help.

    Thanks in advance!

    Reinstall your System Menu and it's Respective IOS using WAD Manager.

    I'd be wary of re-installing your System IOS and Menu as you will lose Priiloader and your only way of getting at the Wii.

    Do you get H&S screen? Have you disabled the H&S screen? Are you running a Wii theme?

    I would suggest getting into WAD Manager through HBC and removing that USB Loader 1.5 wad you installed. This could be a banner brick.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    I was thinking about re-installing System IOS and Menu, but was at unease of losing Priiloader.
    There is no H&S screen (just a black screen when I load up the wii), and I didn't disable the H&S screen. I'm not running a wii theme. I don't think it's a banner brick as the USB Loader 1.5 was a .dol. From the flow chart it seems to be a low-level brick/failure.

    Also I appreciate the help

    A low level brick would normally prevent Priiloader from starting.

    You are quite right about the .dol not causing a banner brick though.

    When in Priiloader what does it say about your IOS and System Menu?

    Could you post a signcheck?

    Umm you'll have to remind be what CB2 is, I can't think what it is at the moment.

    I'm not 100% sure what CB2 is, it seems to do the same thing as signcheck (Dop-IOS MOD report). I just saw maulfrog ask someone else to run it in this thread:

    Strange that a code dump would cause you issues. I would hold on the reinstall for the moment. Verifiy that the ios in preloader settings is set to system menu, or ios60. Disable all preloader hacks. Test booting ios36 and ios249, set in preloader settings. See if any of that has any effect.

    Also
    CB2= cboot2
    BB= bannerbomb
    BB2= bannerbomb V2
    BB1= bannerbomb V1
    So CB2_BB2_Dop-ios-mod = dop ios mod with cboot2 and bannerbomb v2 and HBC startup options.
    Ipsa scientia potestas est.

    Hahahahah omg thanks sooo much!
    It turns out that I accidentally had this "Start Wii with black screen" hack (dunno why this was even included in the hacks.ini list...) enabled on Priiloader!
    Thanks a bunch!

    Thanks Tealc for ur efforts as well.

    Case Closed.
