    Banner brick

Hi, I have a Banner bricked Wii. I'm confused on what to do. i followed a SavemeFrii thing or what ever and it didn't really help... I have an autobooting Drive Key installed as well. I tried the Save me Frii thing with the Wii Backup disk and it didn't work, it passed the screen that shows your system menu version at the bottom right, but then it just stays black. Can someone shed some light on this problem please? Using 3.2U firmware btw.

Banner bricks are usually the result of installing a bad wad. If you've retained access to HBC (by virtue of priiloader) you can boot straight to HBC and remove the offending wad via wad manager. If not's not that simple (ie you don't have Priiloader installed), you're left with either BootMii if installed as boot2, or other options such as your autobooting hardmod. Seek further assistance from the folks here who have forgotten more on this subject than I'll ever personally know myself

This brick was brought into this life by a bad theme D: It installed wrong I suppose. anyways, the wii is now hard modded with a Drive Key. And the wii has NO brick protection. So no starfall, preloader, bootmii. Nothing at all. any ideas?

Burn New HBC AB.rar and try to boot HBC, then reinstall ios30-v1040 and system menu 3.2u. Install with wadmanager or dop-ios mod

Well, your autoboot is working, but you don't have the trucha bug enabled.

    Your choices are:
    1. To burn a series of autoboot games that you can use to fill up your nand and force it into the data management settings (from there, bannerbomb, load HB, reinstall system menu). A variant of this, if you had your wifi settings enabled, would be to use Guitar Hero and fill up your nand with the free downloadable tracks.

    2. Less preferred, but you could autoboot wii fit and use it to get to the systems settings screen. From there, format your wii.

Burn a game with a system menu version higher than 3.2 and update.
    read this-
    WUM Wii Update Manager

3.2 should have ios30-v1040, which should have the trucha bug. Strange
