Tried all of that with no luck. Thank you to Mauifrog for the suggestion.I can bring up the Bootmi screen and from there can open the S/D card and run the Nand backup which does not change anything. On the S/D card I can not get anything to boot at all. Tried the suggestion from Mauifrog but those will not boot either.

Can you run either of these?

    cboot2_signcheck.elf.zip
    cboot2-signcheck.dol.zip

Replace the files on your SD with each in turn.

Hopefully it'll output a file list to your SD card if you follow on screen prompts.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

No luck. They all say failed to open file when I try to install except the one (ppcboot.elf) which sends me back to bootmi. It puts 4 dots under the Wii button that disapear one at a time and then it boots to a blank screen. Hope some of this makes sense to you.

You drop the files from the archives on your fresh clean SD and put it in the Wii, then power on. It doesn't require you to run anything using the SD option. The cboot2 hacks run instead of your bootmii screen.

I tried the fresh S/D card as you stated and nothing comes on the tv screen. The only thing that works is when I use my original S/d card, turn power on and the bootmi screen comes up. Other then the Nand backup (that does not work) I can't get anything else to work. I can turn the Wii on with the remote but get the same results as using the main power button.

if you have bootmii as boot2 and nothing to lose and only then
    use comex nand formatter
download the ios + the right sys menu from http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...tion-here.html (thanks shadow sonic) or with NUSD
wait for the formatter to clean you're nand and install the files
it will reboot you're wii and you will get the screen like you get when u start up the wii for the very first time
run a game like wiifit mkw etc to get some ios's incl 15 and start over with your softmods
after installing hbc you can run either dop ios mod v11.5 to install missing ios's or pimp my wii (i believe)

but only use it if you have bootmii boot2 and it really is you're last chance
GL getting you're wii working again

Can you start bootmii and tell me what you have on the information screen?
Nand usage, version numbers bootmii, stub etc.
Als your sysmenu. Or make a picture of the screen and post it in the thread if you can.
I think you have an old version of bootmii and then the formatter does not work
Or you did not place the files you need in the correct place so the formatter cannot find them ..
