    Question Quick SaveMiiFrii Question

I don't have a GameCube controller but I know where I can borrow one. More to the point, my question is: Well, I've heard that you need to take apart your GameCube controller in order to use SaveMiiFrii. Can you put it back together again afterwards?

that depends on how skilled you are, and wether you lose any parts

But as far as i know it should be possible to put back together.

I used a DDR mat to start the SaveMiiFrii method, a Konami one. Didn't have to modify it. Hope that helps.

Nice, I didn't even think of DDR mat. Lulz, I can be stupid sometimes.

So, it should be possible to reassemble the GC controller in case I can't find a DDR mat?

Ridiculous! So I bought a triwing screwdriver for nothing? I have two DDR mats! Okay, back on the subject. Mini How-To: Make a tool to breach Nintendo's security screws -- Engadget
If you don't have a triwing screwdriver to take it apart, you can mod a flat head to make it work (or use a pen, but that is a ton harder). You need to remove a certain part of the gamecube d-pad if you want to keep the savemiifrii mod forever. Otherwise, just take it apart, and put it back together.
