    Hiding Homebrew from Nintendo?

This is a long post so I'll summarize:
How can I make sure Nintendo doesn't find out I soft modded a (FULLY Bricked) Wii when I send it in for repair??

I was recently given a fully bricked Wii for free. I had modded it using banner bomb and hackmii, and then he had downgraded the system using various soft mods, and when he upgraded (stupidly) it bricked the wii, constant black screen from boot. Called nintendo, it's out of warranty but I gave a sob story and said my roommates fuck with it all the time, and he agreed that if the problem wasn't a "hack" related thing, they could replace my wii for free and they send me labels. I want to MAKE sure they don't find the soft mod? I took the sd card out, and he said it was fine if it was water damaged, so I submerged it in water, froze it, thawed it and dried it out with a blow dryer (it got reaaaal hot and im sure something melted inside too) after shaking the hell out of it hoping to damage something on the inside haha. Is there anyway I can insure that it's too broken for them to find Homebrew? If this works, this might be the best way to fix a bricked wii .

also, I realize this is a weird topic.

Since it is wet you may as well boil it. The heat may be hot enough to effect the chips programing. Put it in a pressure cooker.

Best way would be to put it through an MRI at the hospital.

bahaha. Well Hopefully this is enough, I'm assuming Nintendo isn't made "FORD TOUGH", and that will damage the memory beyond working. I figure it can't hurt, I tried every other unbricking technique, it doesn't have boot2, and recovery console and autoloaders don't work, my only hope would be a Nand flash, and I'm not paying to fix this broken Wii (or not fix it). Sooo I figure if they'll repair it no matter what, as long as it's not hacked, all I gotta do is make sure the memorys fucked right?

absolutely not, the guy said it didnt matter if there was water damaged. What else am I going to do with a fully broken Wii if not try this ridiculous stunt?

I do suppose I could make it into some sort of neat paper weight

You could also plug it in, turn it on and trow it into the bathtub.

I should stand in the bathtub while I do this, to make sure it works, right?
