    STUCK! half-bricked with preloader access.

So...hopefully I won't get terribly flamed or banned or something here, sorry I'm just frustrated!

I made an idiotic move last month and started a softmod on my Wii without a lot of knowledge (I know, rookie!). Well, after trying several apps, wad managers, preloader fixes...I just gave up. I'm back at it now and I'm trying to get it going. I have the "system Files corrupt" error but I can get to the preloader. I can install HBC and get to it as well, not to mention BootMii. At this point I am trying to get it all back to normal so I can redo the softmod correctly. My IOS is showing 70 and system menu 481.

I thought if I could get to BootMii or a WAD Manager all would be good...but i really have been trying to read and search and I'm not making progress. I'm sorry for singling out myself as a different situation, but I think I just need soe personalized help. Anything would be appreciated.

Update: getting error 2011, will be following instructions in your tutorial for that...thank you

You need to reinstall your system ios and system menu. This thread describes the process-
    Preloader/Priiloader Brick Fix

If you have a specific troubles with the process, let me know.

sorry about the double postings...I blame google chrome for that!

I actually have been looking over that post, it has just been getting confusing to me. Maybe it's just the beer though.

Thanks for the link, of course I have been looking at that. I just don't get anywhere past loading the WAD Manager. When I select IOS 249 it closes and shows a Code dump. When I get into it using HBC channel, I select the IOS and then the wiimote unsyncs

Thanks for the response...no luck, as soon as I hit A to select ios250 the wiimote unsyncs.

Will using Dop-IOS MOD help for this situation?

Also, at the end of the week if I am ready to throw this out the window...will an autoboot Drivekey 2.0 modchip work? I'd rather not spend the money, but this is pissing me off.

    Use ios36
Scan the wii system and post the cvs report here

    Was your wii online?
Are your wiimotes synced in HBC?
