Are you able to boot to the System Menu?

Are you able to enter the Wii settings?

Does the Wii have bootmii/boot2 installed (check for dual DVD slot flashes)

Does the Wii have preloader installed (hold reset when powering on)

Are you able to use Loadmii to boot hackmii installer?

Are you able to use Loadmii to boot trucha bug restorer?

What is the most abundant element in the Universe?
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Thanks for that. Interesting stuff that Hydrogen.

You appear to have no cIOS249 installed which complicates things a little.

Could you attempt to run signcheck using loadmii or cboot2, I have a couple of different versions of cboot2 in my mediafire folder, one is an elf and one is a dol. Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire

cboot2 replaces the bootmii files on your SD card and allows you to boot direct to an app.

Which error does hackmii installer give? It might help.

    Signcheck gives this answer:

    Code:
"SignCheck 0.3b aka loveSexWii build report"
    "Wii region", Europe
    "Wii unique device id", 48104779

"IOS number", "Trucha bug", "Flash access", "Boot2 access", "Usb2.0 IOS tree"

"IOS250 (ver 65535)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Enabled
"IOS61 (ver 4890)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS60 (ver 6174)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS55 (ver 5149)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS53 (ver 5149)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS38 (ver 3610)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS37 (ver 3612)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS36 (ver 3094)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS35 (ver 1040)", Disabled, Enabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS34 (ver 3091)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled
"IOS33 (ver 2834)", Disabled, Disabled, Disabled, Disabled

You could try some other hackmii installers, I have a couple of older ones which may not bug out over your IOS36. Check this folder Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire

You may also need to run TBR to ultimately install a different IOS36 to allow hackmii to install but try the top suggestions first.
