    Unhappy Failed to load IOS

I have a bricked wii over here in which I flashed bootmii.
So far so good, I use comex nand formatter (which I use a lot) and the wii does not come on with system menu.
OK, I try to boot using cboot2 and signcheck, I get the following message:
    cBoot2 Dol Loader v16.
    Ios version 2 v16 0x00020010
    Failed to load IOS
I am also not able to get into the rescue menu as I should be able to with a proper system menu on the nand. Does anyone have a clue what could be the cause of this?

Did the formater complete? Are you using the same files as before, 3.1e?
You could try it again. You could also try to add ios36 to the wad folder, that could help with cboot2.

It sounds like it did not install the files.

I have formatted the wii now multiple times, each time it finished like all the others I did.
I also put IOS36 in the folder and it was copied over.
When I check with bootmii then it sees System 3.1 on it. So at least something is copied into the nand. I really think this wii has a hardware problem. Could it be a ppc / arm issue?
I never remember what cpu bootmii runs on

When I did the formatter it would always fail to load boot.dol & loop the loading script from the bootmii,
while it was looping I hotswappped SD cards & had 1 set with loadmii on that loaded up then I'd swap again & load the formatter manually , but it would get stuck on the eula.wad.
so I repeated the process but without the eula wad
It would install the other 3 wads ok, then I repeated again including the eula, & it seemed to work.
now I have ios30 sys menu 3.1e, still black screen problem though but I'm working on that problem suspected hardware issue.
    hth.

Update: I just switched the wii on and it worked again. Managed to put my system settings in. Switched it off and tried to switch it on and nothing again.

Have you tested the dvd drive and wifi module?

DVD drive is not attached at the moment, it is only a bare systemboard
I tried different wifi modules and with and without them.
Using another board, I can use cboot2 without bluetooth and without wifi. So it should not really matter much...
