Will the Wii Fit Plus System Update Brick my Wii?

I have a wii i bought christmas 2006 and I softmodded it and haven't played it in about a year.
I bought a wii fit plus the other day, so i formatted the system memory, not wanting to brick it from the update. Before I went ahead though I had some second thoughts. Should it be good to go after the format, or could some part of the mod still be in place, causing it to brick?
It's a ntsc wii and ntsc wii fit i'm pretty sure.

This forum section is for brick issues only, your wii is not bricked.
