I edited the title of your post as blaming the software for your error is not the right thing to do here.

    You bricked it, not anyregionchanger.

    What did you downgrade to?

    How old was your Wii?

What was the System Menu before you downgraded?

What System Menu did the Wii start it's life with?

Did you have bootmii/boot2 installed (I don't care about bootmii/IOS)

    Why did you downgrade?

    What's the capital of Uzbekistan?

New Wiis cannot be downgraded to 3.2. Anything bought since Jan 2009 (or so) will auto full-brick if lowered beyond their native 3.4. This is pretty well known and was probably instigated by Nintedno to stop people downgrading their Wiis to use the older Zelda heck.

Bootmii/IOS is useless for full bricks, there is a 100% chance that's what you installed and not the useful Bootmii/boot2.

Anyway seeing as your Wii is new you should be able to get a free replacement/refurb by returning it to the shop/Nintendo.

Just don't downgrade next time. Loads of people brick when downgrading from 4.2 by following stupid tutorials written by people that don't fully understand new Wiis. We don't have a downgrade 4.2 tutorial on Wiihacks for very good reason, it's an auto brick maker.

Thanks for the Uzbekistan information too.

Since the wii is a full brick, the only way for Nintendo to recovery any info from it would be to dump the nand with a nand programmer. It is very unlikely they would take the time to do that. So as long as you did not open it up, then they will not know what you did to it.
