Unhappy Bricked Wii after updating with redux

    Hello.

I need a little help,my wii is bricked by an update from the game "Modern Warfare:Redux". I don't know why it happened, and here what I have done.
First: Wii 3.2USA,Wiikey v1 and with homebrew channel (but no bootmii).

I inserted the game (always NTSC) and asked me about update the console,I pressed yes and did the update, rebooted and, tada, brick.

I tried to use the recovery disc (universal unbrick v2) and nothing, then use the savemiifrii but no luck (it didn't show the version of the wii or anything).

    so,what can I do?,buy another wii ?,

(sorry if it's a long o confusing. My first language is spanish.)

    Thanks for any help

Did you downgrade from 4.0 down to 3.2 as part of your softmod?

Bricked then. IOS50 stub brick to be precise. http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...stem-menu.html

No cure outside of bootmii/boot2 or Infectus (Vunerable boot1 Wii required and an Infectus chip)

Send to Nintendo and pay for a repair at approx 75USD

    (but no bootmii).
Easy way to check..If your DVD slot flashes twice when you power on then you have bootmii/boot2 installed. If it just flashes once then you do not. Bootmii/Boot2 is not something you can install after you bricked, it is installed at time of softmod and updated at will.

I have no idea about Infectus sorry. Drop Erikie a line http://www.wiihacks.com/members/erikie.html I am sure he will help if he can, he usually drops in on threads like this but he is currently offline.

Load bootmii by dropping the bootmii files onto your SD card.

bootmii folder.rar This is a PAL bootmii folder.

You should get 4 icons on your screen if your SD card is supported.

Try using the reset and power buttons to navigate to the Homebrew Channel option and open it.

    Fixed

I have fixed (with the help of Tealc) my nintendo wii.

This is what a I did (maybe it could help someone)

First:copy bootmii from my sd (SDHC 4GB) to another one (SD 512MB)
second:booted bootmii and enter Homebrew channel
    third:install with wadmanager IOS50 v4889.wad from here

    reboot.and tada.

    Thanks for the help Tealc.
