It might do as it primarily uses IOS60 to operate, although it may need some data from System Menu to actually load the recovery menu.

Why would you be so silly as to mess around with your System Menu with absolutely no brick protection anyway? Do you not like having a working Wii?
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I installed IOS60-patched with Wad Manager using IOS249,

however instead of using Firmware Updater 4.1, I installed a system 4.1 wad file update instead with my wad manager.

then foolishly removed it throough the wad manager.

so my IOS60 is still in my wii, even though I just uninstalled 4.1 through the wad manager?

    Try savemiifrii, it is free.

I doubt it would work, but let us know if it does.

So do you think if I try savemiifree, it will detect ios60?

    I patched ios60 before I installed SystemMenu-NTSCU-v449

NO, I don't think it will work. I think your wii is toast. But a gc-controller is about $7, so what the hell, give it a try.
